Tim White has hosted and performed on Song of the Mountains since it started airing on television back in 2005. Song of the Mountains the nationally syndicated concert series has historically aired on 190 plus television outlets across America for more than a decade, showcasing the music of the Southern Appalachian Region. Tim White’s knowledge of the music along with his talents as a musician, singer/songwriter, humorist and network of professionals in the entertainment world has had a major impact on the Americana, Bluegrass and Old Time Music world.

Plans may include special guided tours to the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, VA where Song of the Mountains is taped to the Country Music Museums in Bristol, TN-VA, the Tennessee Ernie Ford Home, to special tours of the Carter Family Fold in nearby Hiltons, VA. Based in Bristol, Tennessee-Virginia Tim has lived and performed in the “hotbed” of American Music.
Not only is Tim a performing artist but he is also a visual artist who paints on canvas as well as notable murals throughout the “Birthplace of Country Music Region”.
Two of Tim’s most notable mural works are the “Bristol, TN-VA/Birthplace of Country Music Mural” located on the Tennessee side of State Street in Bristol. This mural is 30 x 100 ft. in size. Tim also created and designed the 16 x 80 ft. mural in Marion, Virginia titled “Marion’s Musical Heritage Mural”. Both murals depict the rich musical heritage of the region and the history behind the music.
